Our story
Owners have always been the shortest leg of the stool
Brands, operators and even managers of other asset classes invested heavily in technology. The tools available to hotel asset managers lagged. Owners are disconnected from source systems, don't own the tech stack, and hold portfolios spread across many brands and operators, so the data-driven picture of performance they need was never available on cobbled-together spreadsheets and email chains.
Singlepane was launched by current and former hotel asset managers who were spending countless hours producing that reporting. We set out to build a solution that helps owners and asset managers optimize performance, and their own team's time.
Our vision is to empower hotel owners with the tools and insights they need to optimize asset values and achieve their business goals in record time. That means giving a three-person private equity team the same visibility and control as a billion-dollar REIT.

From one firm's internal tool to the industry's platform
- 2023Founded
Singlepane originates as an internal initiative at hotel asset management firm hotelAVE, built by people with deep roots in hotel ownership and investment, and launches as an independent company with portfolio business intelligence and the Excel add-in.
- 2024CapEx and Contracts
CapEx Management and Contract Management join Business Intelligence: capital budgets, approvals and draws, and every agreement and key date, next to the financials.
- 2025The platform
Debt Service completes the suite and Singlepane launches as the industry’s first comprehensive asset management platform built exclusively for hotel owners. Within three months, nearly 20 ownership groups are on board.
- 2026ScoutAI and Office
ScoutAI launches in the app, over SMS, email, Microsoft Teams and as a meeting notetaker, with MCP connectors for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. Singlepane for Office brings refreshable tags to PowerPoint and Word.
- 2027Acquisitions
The Acquisitions module launches in Q1, completing the lifecycle from first look to final exit.
